Description
This pic is basicly an experiment(another one... for god sake!) of new shading techniques. Well, new for me, this kind of drawing is used a lot im fantasy comics like Conan(the old line), Hokuto no ken, and of course, old west fumetti!
I like the visual, it gives roughness, weight and KABLAM! And then I put a pretty face in the picture. Mind Blowing! But for my sadness, i can only manage to use this technique with pencils. When I do it with pens, it turns a mess. Well, never give up, right?
Her battle name is Morning star. Don't asks her why she chose that name...

"From what I've observed on DeviantArt, a lot of artists sketch out the scenes they depict in pencil first. Then they go back over the forms with pen and inks to sharpen and redefine the characters and background. It seems that there is no magical formula to the process. You need practice and experience in the technique to perfect your style."
